An active collaboration is ongoing between Gustincich's Laboratory of Neurogenomics and Janez Pavec, full professor of Structural Biology at the University of Ljubljana, and head of the National Center for High Resolution NMR Spectroscopy at the National Institute of Chemistry in Ljubljana. Plavec is an expert in the structural analysis of nucleosides, nucleotides and oligomer fragments of nucleic acids in solution with the use of NMR spectroscopy.
